Torch Relay "Flame of Peace" passes through Vienna and Budapest

The Torch Relay "Flame of Peace" continues its march through Europe. On the eve it  visited two European capitals at once - Vienna and Budapest. 

The well-known Austrian athletes attended the torch handover ceremony, including gymnast Nicole Ruprecht, a permanent competitor of Belarusian women at world cup stages. The head of the Austrian team’s mission, Christopher Sieber, assured that the national team of this country will come to Minsk with serious medal goals.

I was especially surprised by these strong guys on bikes who have already covered several thousand kilometers. I’m not only happy that the "Flame of Peace" relay race has passed through our city, but also because I will come to Minsk in June as part of the Austrian delegation. And now we are doing the final preparations for the important competitions."

Further the torch followed to Bratislava. Among the honorary torchbearers is Nikolai Signevich, the forward of the national team of Belarus.
