Ruhpolding, Germany, hosted the 5th stage of the IBU World Cup Biathlon last week. Yesterday, the women’s mass start took place, where Daria Domracheva finished fifth. For a long time, Domracheva was leading in the race, but then missed twice in the last standing.
Another two Belarusian biathletes finished in the top 20. Nadezhda Skardino, the winner of the small crystal globe in the individual competition, was 16th, and Irina Krivko finished 14th.
The next stage will take place in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy. The competition will start on 18 January.
