The opening of the final Republican handball competition Rushing Ball among boys and girls was held in the Victoria Sports Complex. 16 teams are taking part in the competition. The strongest players will have the possibility to continue their training in specialized schools. In total, more than 7,000 children are involved in the handball movement in Belarus, and the men's team of Belarus is among the 10 strongest teams in Europe.
The competition Rushing Ball is held since the 1970s.
