12 awards, including 2 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals. Our team once again demonstrated a high class of the Belarusian sambo school. In the women's team competition, the national team of Belarus took the second place. The Belarusian team was congratulated by the Head of State on the successful performance.
Alexander Lukashenko noted the skill, character, patience and perseverance of our athletes, calling this performance a good example for athletes who are preparing for the European Games. The Head of State expressed special gratitude to Svetlana Timoshenko and Tatiana Matsko, who defended the titles of the best sambo women in their weight categories.
At the planetary forum in St. Petersburg, trampoliners Vladislav Goncharov and Oleg Ryabtsev once again reached the highest place, while demonstrating one of the most difficult programs among all the finalists. In his congratulations, the Head of State wished the athletes and the entire team confidence in their abilities, and noted the great diligence of the athletes and the quality work of the coaching staff.
