Belarusian judo wrestlers compete for medals at Chizhovka Arena

Attention of Belarusian fans is focused today on Chizhovka Arena. Our judo wrestlers are competing for medal there. It is already known that we will definitely win medals in this sport.

Two representatives of Belarus continue the fight for medals. Daniel Mukete reached the quarterfinals in the category up to one hundred kilograms. He lost there and will compete for bronze. Our Marina Slutskaya has reached the final among women in the category over 78 kilograms. In the semifinals she defeated an athlete fr om Azerbaijan. Thus, we will have silver at least!

Judo, along with boxing and badminton, is the kind of sports wh ere European Games competitions are combined with the European Championship. Although direct tickets to Tokyo are not given here, the winner will score so many rating points that it will be enough to get to the Olympics!
