In the conditions of politically motivated decisions of the International Handball Federation to remove Belarusian and Russian teams from international competitions, the handball federations of the two countries are going to be united, and in the near future they plan to create a single league.
Four men's teams and two women's teams from each country will play in a joint Belarusian-Russian league.
