The fight for the trophy was difficult. Sabalenka had to play two matches a day. Moreover, the semi-finals and finals took place with a difference of just a couple of hours. Such a schedule at the tournament was dictated by the weather, it rained in Shenzhen on January 3 and, as a result, they had to postpone the matches. In the final the Belarusian tennis player was confronted by an American Alison Riske. The first set was for a rival - 4: 6. In the second set Arina won with a score 7: 2. In the decisive set, the American was not going to give up, clinging to each ball. But just today our Arina was stronger 6: 3. Brilliant victory in the tournament.

After the victory, Arina paid attention to her fans. Belarusians had a lot of fans at the tournament, took photos and selfies with fans, handed out tennis balls with autographs. She also addressed her fans through social networks.
