100 days before the start of the championship, a charitable action "Basketball for All" was held, in which the children of Minsk children's home number 5 took part. Two teams of invited guests, reinforced by players of the national team under 18 played in front of some participants of the future World Cup.
Today, the volunteer program "Belarus-2018" run by Basketball Federation jointly with the Directorate of the Second European Games was also presented. According to its results, 150 volunteers will partake in the upcoming World Cup, as well as some other basketball tournaments in our country.
