By the way, military-technical cooperation between the countries is constantly developing. A number of promising projects are currently being worked out. One of them concerns the Belarusian satellite technology. Minsk plant Peleng has already sent to Turkey proposals for the creation of target equipment for remote sensing spacecraft. Another promising direction is the supply of air defense equipment.
Belarus and Turkey maintain close contact at various levels, including the highest one. Alexander Lukashenko visited Turkey four times as part of his work at large summits. In November 2016, the official visit of the Turkish President to Belarus took place. Mutual trade in recent years has been stable at the billion dollar level. More than 300 enterprises with the participation of Turkish capital work in our country. This country along with Azerbaijan is one of the key partners of Belarus in the Asian region.
