This is the official start of the main holiday of the country. Among the honored guests there were well-known and honored people of the country, diplomats, social activists, and heroes - veterans. The event was attended by the President of Belarus. Alexander Lukashenko congratulated everybody on the Independence Day. He noted that July 3 will always remain a special date in the Belarusian calendar, and our people will not forget those, who saved the world from fascism.
Now Belarus pursues a policy of peace. At the same time, as stated by Alexander Lukashenko, the main foundation of our security and independence is harmony in society, peace and order in the country, as well as sustainable economic development.
