A wide range of experts from the government, the National Bank, regional and municipal authorities discussed the key directions of development. Last year the economy fell by 6%, but the situation has been stabilized. The volumes of exports and gold and foreign currency reserves are being restored. Against this background, experts observe no growth of the population's incomes. This is the question the Head of State asked the participants of the conversation. The President recalled about the orders to monitor the average salary and employment. The number of employees should increase.
Salaries and jobs are among the main topics of the conversation. The President notes that in order to increase the average level of income in the country it is necessary to increase the size of salary to those categories of citizens, whose income is below average. According to the government, 48 thousand new jobs have appeared in the country within the first nine months of this year. At the same time, the figure of 70 thousand is planned to be reached by the end of 2017.
Today, the government has submitted draft documents for the coming year. They concern the social and economic development, the budget and the main directions of monetary policy. In particular, it is assumed that the budget will retain its social orientation. There will be an increase in spending on education, health care and support for large families.
