Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin outlined the main issues on the agenda of the meeting for the press. They include the socio-economic problems and efforts of the two countries to overcome the demographic decline. Belarus and Russia make serious efforts to support the birth rate and create conditions for families with children.

The strategic integration vector was set during  two Sochi meetings of the presidents. Currently, experts have developed 90% of new union programs,  called roadmaps. They envisage close cooperation in production, trade, quality control, tax and customs services. Less than a week ago, during the visit of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to Minsk, the integration of the fiscal system was discussed.

Security will also be on the agenda of the today's meeting of the leaders. The allies cannot but respond to the extremely hostile steps taken by the USA and its allies in the EU. In addition, the issue of Ukraine was raised including possible relocation of the peacekeeping  forum from Minsk and refusal to implement Minsk agreements.
