Victory Parade held in Moscow

28 июня 2020
The feat of our heroes was recalled this week in Moscow. The Victory Parade was held. The pandemic made adjustments, so it was finally decided to postpone the May 9 celebration in Russia until June 24. The first Victory Parade was held 75 years ago on that day in the capital of Russia. Those who defeated the Nazis marched on the Red Square. At the invitation of Vladimir Putin, Alexander Lukashenko flew to Moscow with his family.

Different republics contributed to the Great Victory. This date has become sacred for different countries. 14 000 troops marched on the Red Square.  Viewers saw almost 400 units of land and aviation equipment.  In addition to the Russian military, representatives of 13 states took part in the parade.

Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin will see each other just the other day. The Russian leader invited our President to the opening of the memorial to the Soviet Soldier near Rzhev. Belarus contributed to the construction of the monument.  And as the Head of the Belarusian State said, now the presidential schedules are being revised to find time to discuss some issues of further cooperation with the Russian President.
