Today the President met with the new head of the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Former Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan was appointed to this position in February. The Eurasian integration has been working for a year already. A common market with free movement of goods, labor and capital was formed in 2015 under the chairmanship of Belarus. Almost half of the services market is already working by the same rules. Alexander Lukashenko emphasizes that when participating in the Eurasian integration, Belarus consistently advocates for the removal of all barriers that still remain in the mutual trade.
Today, Chairman of the Board of the EEC met with Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov. During the meeting, Tigran Sargsyan voiced several initiatives in the framework of the Eurasian integration. Among them is the strategy of development of the EAEU taking into account world trends. The document with medium-term and tactical tasks will be submitted by the panel to the Heads of States-parties to the EAEU.
