Ahead of Independence Day, the President of Belarus traditionally presented state awards. A beautiful and emotional ceremony took place at the Palace of Independence. The list of awardees includes 45 representatives of different professions. These awards reflect victories and personal achievements in industry, sports, or in operating rooms. These people multiply the glory of generations and demonstrate an example of doing their duty and personal courage. Alexander Lukashenko congratulated everyone on the upcoming state holiday and receiving these high awards.
A special tour of the Palace of Independence was organized for the awardees. For over four years this symbol of the Belarusian statehood has become an integral part of big politics. Visits of world leaders, the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the CIS summit, as well as the inauguration of the President of Belarus all took place here.
