Today we have a dialogue with our Balkan friends. The Palace of Independence hosts the Honorary Consul of Belarus in Serbia, Deputy of the National Assembly Dragomir Karic. This region is historically close to Belarus both politically and economically. The relations with Serbia have a high degree of mutual respect and trust as s it should be between the brotherly Slavic peoples. In difficult times for Belgrade, official Minsk was one of the few that took a principled and fair stance towards Serbia. Today we feel the shoulder of our Balkan friends, too. The business community of the two countries is emphasized in further development of cooperation.
Large business projects are now operating in Belarus and Serbia: Dragomir Karic's construction company has been operating in Belarus for many years. But all this is impossible without a reliable political platform. Historically, Serbia has been a stronghold in the Balkans for both Belarus and Russia.
