President holds number of international meetings

A new era is beginning in relations between Belarus and Latvia, the journalists stated. On Friday, the Head of State met with the Foreign Minister of this country, Edgars Rinkevics. Recently, the political dialogue has been on a rise, and this has a positive effect on mutual trade. Last year, the figure exceeded half a billion dollars, but the potential is much higher. By the way, the head of the Belarusian state is expected to visit Riga. The date has not yet been named, because the program should be filled with specific projects that will bring significant results to the countries. Latvia is also interested in the normalization of relations between Belarus and the European Union.
