The discussion is devoted to the creation of a so-called IT-country. This decision was made in spring, and specialists have prepared a package of proposals. It is planned to expand the activities for the residents of the Hi-Tech Park. There is a permission to use elements of English law in the IT field. This will allow concluding investment agreements within Belarus and attracting a part of financial flows fr om abroad. Our country can also become one of the first countries in the world wh ere the notion of a blockchain will be legalized. Also, the draft decree introduces into the legal field such concepts as tokens, cryptocurrencies, mining and others.
The new decree opens Belarus for foreign investments and will give unique knowledge and experience in the use of cryptocurrency technologies. Experts emphasize that the implementation of the document does not require additional funding.
