The work of Belarusian Customs, queues at the border and an effective barrier against drug trafficking. Today the President has received a report from Vladimir Orlovsky, the Head of the Customs Committee. The overall results for not quite 2021 are positive. They expect this trend to continue until the end of the year. The tasks set by the head of state are being fulfilled including in terms of filling the budget.  This year, payments have already been collected by a quarter more than last year. The treasury has received almost 6.5 billion rubles. The cargo flow is growing! Businesses are working, the export-import is going on!

Head of the State Customs Committee: 94% of transit traffic at the border is cleared up within 10 minutes.

The customs tries not to create unnecessary difficulties, but on the contrary, to help Belarusian enterprises to work under sanctions. 85% of our exports are cleared within 5 minutes. Half of all imports are cleared within an hour. Earlier, it used to take hours and days! And, as they say, time is money! They also touched upon the issue of periodic queues at the border - it's not Belarus' fault, that's for sure!

А. Lukashenko: the West accuses Belarus of smuggling, but keeps silent on the problem of drug trafficking from Europe

The President's instruction is to keep working on transit attractiveness, to reduce customs control time, develop the border infrastructure. Recently, Belarus has been confronted with an increased flow of drug trafficking, attempts to smuggle weapons and ammunition. Because of the pandemic restrictions, most of the drugs are now transported in trucks. This year alone, over 300 hundred attempts to smuggle psychotropic drugs have been stopped. Over 400 hundred kilograms of narcotics have been taken out of circulation, many times more than before.
