Today the President of Belarus has visited the largest textile manufacturing enterprise Kamvol. The profitability of new products is about 6 percent. Now it will be able to compete not only in the Russian market, but also in the Asian region and the EU countries. The President evaluated the updated workshops, got acquainted with the technologies that make it possible to obtain a high-quality product, and talked about the prospects for the development of production. Alexander Lukashenko emphasizes that for the textile enterprise this is just the beginning of a long way.
700 people work at Kamvol, and today the Head of State talked with the staff. The company's employees were interested in current events, including sports scandals surrounding Russia's participation in the forthcoming Olympic Games.
Modernization of the enterprise cost more than 110 million dollars. Almost 300 units of the most modern equipment were purchased.
