Alexander Lukashenko meets with President of Bolivia

Cooperation of Belarus and Bolivia will be developing according to the cooperation model with Venezuela. This was stated today by Alexander Lukashenko during the meeting with the President of Bolivia. The Heads of the States held negotiations in restricted and extended formats.


This is the first visit of the Bolivian leader to Belarus. Right after the meeting ceremony, the Heads of the States held negotiations in restricted attendance. Alexander Lukashenko stressed that Belarus is ready to cooperate with Bolivia in the widest range of aspects. It is referred to supplies of the mechanical engineering complex production. Belarus is also ready to present the achievements in the agricultural sphere, search and exploitation of mineral deposits.


During the negotiations, the parties agreed on the creation of a joint commission for cooperation. In the near future it will gather in Minsk to become familiar with the opportunities of Belarus. Afterwards, the session will take place in the capital of Bolivia. Two documents were signed following the results of the negotiations in extended format. It is expected that agreements will also be reached today during the visit of MAZ and MTZ by the delegations.
