There were all kinds of questions: consequences of possible sanctions against Belarus, hot situation on our western borders, national symbols and the first Russian coronavirus vaccine.

Vitebsk Region was the first to take the blow from COVID-19. Its experience in the fight against infection was taken over by the capital and our southern regions. All possible resources have been used there. In May, the Ministry of Health announced that the most difficult period in Vitebsk Region passed. It's clear that Orsha remembers that difficult time.

Europe threatens Belarus with sanctions

European parliamentarians are closely monitoring the situation in our country, announcing a possible new round of restrictions. The President believes that it is the opinion of our work teams like the one in Orsha that matters, and not of external advisors. Besides, Belarus can also respond to the sanctions from Europe.

One of the questions was about national symbols. Today, Belarus, as an independent country, is associated with the red-green flag. The opponents of the current government actively use the white-red-white flag. Yet, many people denounce its place and role in our history.
