President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko participates in summit of CIS Heads of State

Kyrgyzstan is represented at the summit by the Prime Minister. The head of this state decided to stay in Bishkek, where preparations for the presidential elections are being actively conducted.

The leaders discuss 16 issues. Among them are the anti-corruption concept, an agreement on the exchange of information in the fight against terrorism, as well as cooperation in the protection of external borders. The main focus is on deepening investment ties, as well as eliminating trade barriers. The President of Belarus openly outlined all the problems that hamper fruitful joint work. A number of problematic issues were raised by Belarus within the framework of the EAEU.

At the moment the leaders of the CIS countries continue their work. The year 2019 will be announced in the Commonwealth the year of a book, and 2020 will be the year of victory in the Great Patriotic War. And one of the most significant documents of the agenda will be the statement of the CIS Heads of State on the support of the family institute. It says that the preservation of traditional values ​​is one of the main priorities of social policy. The text of the statement is planned to be sent to the UN, OSCE and other international organizations.
