3 декабря 2019
Alexander Lukashenko arrived in this country on an official visit the day before. The Presidents of Belarus and Serbia will discuss the development of political dialogue and economic cooperation between the countries at the meeting. Everything is important  from trade to the creation of joint ventures and the promotion of investment projects. The program of the visit includes meetings in the parliament. The Belarusian-Serbian business forum will be held.

Belarus supported Serbia, when it was bombarded by NATO in 1999. That facilitated the friendship between the nations and Presidents.

Alexander Lukashenko has not been in Serbia for 5 years. Both of the countries eager to strengthen the partnership in bilateral projects and on the international arena. On the eve Alexander Vucic gave an interview to our channel. The President of Serbia spoke about spheres that will provide a significant increase in trade. There is a lot of work to be done, the task of half a billion dollars is still of current interest.

Alexander Vucic, President of Serbia: “President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is a sincere friend of Serbia and the Serbian people. I expect his visit to be a serious impetus for the development of our relations starting with the development of relations in the field of modern technologies."

The politicians will sign a dozen documents today, but before that they will hold several negotiations. They will make statements to the media and answer questions from journalists. Lukashenko will address the deputies of the Serbian parliament. The meeting is more relevant than ever: in April a political campaign starts in the country and a new composition has to be chosen. There is no doubt about our Presidents' contribution, the expectations from this visit are very high.
