President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has updated the tasks to for operation on the Russian market. He made relevant statements at the meeting on the improvement of the Belarusian pavilion at VDNKh in Moscow.

"This is not a private shop," Lukashenko harshly responded to the failure of the Belarusian pavilion at VDNKh.

"The current situation around Belarus, especially in the economy, dictates a particular urgency, and some non-standard actions are required in this regard. It is clear that in this situation the Russian Federation has become our main partner (as it was before), and even more so now. And we attach special importance to work in the Russian market. This is not a secret for anyone. Therefore, all resources are mobilized in the government in order to act effectively in the eastern direction. This does not mean that we should forget the other markets, the developing countries and our traditional markets, the European Union and the USA. But so far we cannot work there as effectively as we did before these sanctions packages were imposed. Now it is clear that Russia will be strangled to the the bitter end, and Belarus into the bargain," said the President.

The head of state noted that that is why Russia is given special attention. And advertising and exhibition activities are of great importance. "You have to show the goods to full advantage. It must be advertised. And in order to advertise it, it should be displayed properly," stressed the Belarusian leader.

In this regard, the issue of improving the Belarusian pavilion at VDNKh was addressed at the meeting.

Alexander Lukashenko noted that he had received information about the work of the Belarusian pavilion through various channels. He was informed by responsible officials that everything was well and that the facility was turning a profit. "Look, it's important to me that it was a profitable event. But it's even more important that the achievements of the country were represented there. And the highest achievements, be it food, clothes, equipment or something else, should be sold through VDNKh, through our pavilion. They say to me: you know, it's not adapted for that. Look, I don't care what it's adapted for. But it's in the heart of the great Russia."

The President emphasized that the pavilion should display appropriate products for advertising: "There should be our products, which we manufacture: from food to machinery, and sold as much as possible. And contracts should be concluded as well."
