The regional development is in the center of attention of the President of Belarus.
The President outlined the main aspects in the development of small regions. The Svisloch District was the venue of a detailed discussion. It is not among the best districts, but the government has a plan to raise such regions to the proper level. In particular, the plan provides for building new and upgrading old enterprises and creating social infrastructure.
Alexander Lukashenko also visited Ganchitsy-Neman farm. Their dairy complex is among the top ten most successful farms in the country in terms of milk yield. Then, the investment projects were discussed at the transport and logistics center. It is managed by Kronospan engaged in woodworking. It is an important resource, from which we can get more. But to do this, we need to build a furniture factory. There will be support from the state. In general, such investment projects should become supporting points of growth both in the regions. This is the task Alexander Lukashenko set for the government and governors at the meeting.
President continues practice of unannounced inspections
The practice of unannounced inspections, which had taken place before the meeting, was a good shake-up for the local authorities. The President looked not only at the local district agricultural machinery, but also at the bakery, which needs to be updated. The message is the same - get things in order everywhere. А.
