Work and further development of the national media space are being discussed by the President of Belarus at the meeting with representatives of major mass media.
Journalists, editors, experts and heads of media publications gathered in the Palace of Independence: about 250 people in total.
Their work determines how the information about events in the country and abroad will be presented. Alexander Lukashenko emphasized, while addressing the journalists, that some mass media put forward conspiracy theories about the events that took place with his participation in the regions and Minsk. This meeting should clarify issues related to both the internal and external agenda.
The Belarusian officials responsible for the work and development of the country's mass media were also present. One of the most pressing issues is the dissemination of information on such platforms as the Internet.
