Work of Customs Committee became discussed at meeting of Alexander Lukashenko and Yuri Senko

The effective work of the Customs Committee was the main topic of the meeting between the Head of State and Yuri Senko, the chairman of the relevant department.  Maximum simplification of customs formalities and creating a barrier-free environment for business and comfort for travelers - these are the goals of the customs service. Today, at a time when global relations are developing rapidly and tourism is becoming a national policy, the role of border guards cannot be overestimated. For example: freight traffic increased by 3.5%. It should be noted that the number of offences and crimes has also increased - drugs and psychotropics were detected 4 times more than last year. That is why the Customs Committee SCC is faced with the task of protecting not only economy, but also public safety.
