Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin held a constructive conversation on the further development and cooperation between countries under the restrictions imposed by the West on our countries. Our President emphasized once again, and with words, so loved by our opponents: the pressure is illegitimate. However, there is nothing to worry about. Alexander Lukashenko suggested placing the emphasis on the development within the CSTO and the EAEU.
His Russian colleague also agreed with the Belarusian leader. As a result, overcoming the sanctions, as it was before, would benefit both countries. Attempts to curb the development of Belarus and Russia have been constantly made. Therefore, the states will definitely overcome these difficulties. The practice of recent years has shown that where the "West have imposed restrictions on us, we have acquired new competences and restored the old ones at a new technological level.
In fact, the Western politicians have limited themselves by imposing sanctions on our countries. How will they cope? After all, the impact will soon be felt significantly on their food basket.
Talks of the Presidents of Belarus and Russia
Belarusian and Russian leaders also discussed the global situation, in particular the situation in Ukraine. Alexander Lukashenko underscored once again that we had not unleashed any war. And if Russia had not launched a preemptive strike on Ukrainian positions, its military would have attacked the troops of our countries. The President stressed that Ukraine has the largest nuclear power plants on its territory and biological weapons are being developed. He also reminded that our country provided electricity to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. It should be noted that the leaders of Belarus and Russia are in constant contact and interaction.
