In the exhibition complex Belexpo the President studied today interesting novelties of domestic production: winter special equipment, sports equipment and musical instruments. Alexander Lukashenko ordered to renew the production of these goods after the meeting with creative youth in March.
The main emphasis is on the fact that absolutely all of the above mentioned should be produced in Belarus. Internal resources are sufficient for this. It is important to develop technologies, to support producers and provide the necessary equipment. A lot of attention is paid to sports. After all, Belarusian victories are shaping the country's image in the international arena. Children's and youth schools and institutions of secondary education must be provided with appropriate equipment produced in Belarus.
On April 13, at a meeting on the development of winter sports, the Head of State gave clear instructions on the provision of specialized schools with appropriate equipment of Belarusian production.
Belarusian snowcatchers for compacting ski runs and an ice-filling machine were made at the MTZ. Localization of prototypes is still about 50%, but next year it should be completely Belarusian.
The general director of MTZ emphasizes that the price of snowcatchers is much lower than that of foreign analogues.
According to the President, it is important to correctly calculate the pressure of the machine on the snow cover. Of course it is important that absolutely all the components of the machine are produced in Belarus.
Snowcatchers will be modified in winter conditions. At the moment it is problematic due to lack of snow. This issue should be solved by domestic snow blowers: productivity of the prototype is 60 cubic meters of snow per hour. The cost of such a snow cannon in comparison with imported analogues was reduced from forty thousand dollars to twenty.
Vitebsk shoe factory Marco was instructed to develop shoes for skiers and biathlonists. It took 4.5 months to prepare the design and launch mass production.
In total, 20 models of shoes were developed. According to the decision of the commission, 6 best samples were chosen. 9 thousand pairs of shoes have already been produced. About 4 thousand will be transferred to the federation of biathlon and ski races as sponsorship.
The President points out during the exhibition that it is important that all the best that we have should be delivered not only to specialized children and youth schools but also to institutions of general secondary education
The main type of raw material for making skis and sticks for Nordic walking is rovings. The production is located in Polotsk. 95% of raw materials for rovings are made in Belarus, which makes domestic poles 10 times cheaper than foreign counterparts.
All this is done in order to make sports of any kind available to everyone.
