The salary of teachers in the next years should be doubled. This demand was voiced today by the President of Belarus during his working trip to Slutsk District. It is about the socio-economic development of the territories. The governor of the region and the vice-premier reported on the fulfillment of the instructions of the Head of State during the previous trips to this region.
Modernization of enterprises, new technologies, and organization of production of import substitution products were discussed today at Slutsk Sugar Works. As the President noted, the future of small settlements is in the creation of modern processing enterprises and the production of competitive products. This topic was discussed during a conversation with labor collectives. Belarus plans to enter the Chinese market with sugar products, as it has already done with meat and milk. The spheres of education and health will be optimized. The President also explained his decision on the resignation of the ministers of sport and forestry.
While communicating with the labor collectives of Slutsk enterprises, the President noted that in the year of Small Motherland everyone should bring something new for the development and improvement of the place where he was born. A special role in solving the urgent problems of the regions is assigned to the local deputies.
