President meets with Russian Ambassador to Belarus Alexander Surikov

At the invitation of President Vladimir Putin, Alexander Lukashenko is going to pay his first foreign visit after presidential election to Russia. This was discussed today at a meeting of the Belarusian leader with Ambassador of Russia to Belarus Alexander Surikov.

The sides discussed the development of the Belarusian-Russian relations in the context of strengthening of the position of the Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union.

Alexander Lukashenko’s visit to Russia will be the eighth meeting of the leaders this year.
