Alexander Lukashenko has appointed Ivan Golovatyi Belaruskali General Director; Vladimir Amarin has been appointed Finance Minister of Belarus, and former Housing and Utilities Minister Andrei Shorets has become Minsk Mayor. Approving the new appointment, Alexander Lukashenko expects the new mayor to present a report on the activities of the working group on problem issues in housing and communal services.
Alexander Lukashenko has also appointed Yuri Senko Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Belarus and Natalia Eismont Press Secretary of the President of Belarus. Prior to that, she worked as a presenter and journalist at Belteleradiocompany's TV News Agency.
