President makes personnel decisions

This Tuesday the Head of State made a number of personnel decisions in the diplomatic corps, education and leadership of Belteleradiocompany.

The Head of State agreed on the appointment of the leaders of the Kobrin and Lyakhovichi district executive committees. They are Mikhail Grishkevich and Alexander Kaminsky. The President demands active participation of the local authorities in the improvement of the agro-industrial complex. All enterprises in the territory of the regions, regardless of the form of ownership, are under their supervision now. The President asks the district executive committees to pay more attention to the development of the service sector.

The Head of State also appointed heads of diplomatic representations in the countries of the European Union. Former spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Dmitry Mironchik is now the Ambassador of Belarus to Sweden. His colleague Alexander Lukashevich is the Ambassador of Belarus to Bulgaria and part-time in Greece and Cyprus. Vyacheslav Kachanov will head the diplomatic mission in Estonia.

The President appointed Gennady Palchik the rector of the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus. He left the post of head of the highest attestation commission. Vadim Bogush is now the rector of BSUIR, and Alexander Dragan will head the Brest State Technical University.

Personnel changes were made in the structure of the country's main media holding. Sergei Gusachenko was appointed vice-chairman of Belteleradiocompany.
