New appointments in Presidential Administration, Ministries of Information and Agriculture made

Personnel strengthening in important spheres took place today at the Palace of Independence. Alexander Lukashenko appointed a deputy to the Presidential Administration!

Igor Lutsky, the former Minister of Information, now holds this post. He will oversee the social sphere, information work and ideology.

Vladimir Pertsov became new Minister of Information. He previously represented the Belarusian office in the International Television and Radio Company Mir.

Talking to journalists, the new Minister of Information noted that the work of the department and all its structures will be coordinated. The information agenda is changing at once and this must be taken into account. Great attention will be paid to the entire media sphere of our country! Now we have free broadcasting of both Russian, Ukrainian and Western media. At the same time, neither YouTube nor other platforms in Belarus are overlapped, edited, and access to content on social networks is not limited.

The President has approved Andrei Kuntsevich as First Deputy Minister of Information.

Alexander Lukashenko also has 2 new assistants in Minsk and Gomel regions: Alexander Butarev and Nikolai Rogashchuk. They will have to deal with economic and personnel issues in the regions.

The head of state also agreed on the appointment of Igor Brylo as the first Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture, and Alexei Bogdanov as his deputy. Alexei Guyda became the head of the Main Directorate of Personnel Policy of the Presidential Administration. Marina Kostyuchenko and Veronika Gudkova became members of Gomel Regional Executive Committee.
