President voices basic principles of Belarusian policy

Foreign policy, constitutional reform, relations with partners, security and the unprecedented pressure that Belarus is facing - these are only some of the topics raised Wednesday at the meeting of the President with parliamentarians, members of the Constitutional Commission and representatives of the state administration bodies. The key statements that will become the basic principles of the Belarusian policy were made. A hybrid war has been launched against Belarus. There is a transition from the organization of revolts to a new stage - strangulation. It all looks more like jealousy because of the failed coup attempt.

А. Lukashenko: there is no sense for the world community to shake us!

The head of the state addressed the international community: there is no point in shaking Belarus! Belarus has already acquired immunity from shocks. The sense of dignity of the Belarusian people will not allow terrorists and extremists to manipulate us.

Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus: We also know who benefits from demonizing Belarus. We are a small country, but we will respond adequately. There are similar examples in the world. And before making any rash moves, just remember that Belarus is the centre of Europe. And if something flares up here, it will be another world war. Belarus does not expect to win this war. But even if it stands alone, which it won't, it can bring unacceptable damage to the enemy. It is written down in military documents. Therefore, think twice before rattling weapons near our borders. Reasonable people understand what is going on. And I would simply ask those who are behind the provocation: do you not realize the catastrophic consequences? Are you aware of your actions? You know that justice is on our side and we still have to answer for it. Stop it!

The President also said: the answer to any sanctions will be tough and adequate. Belarus will compensate temporary difficulties with proactive actions in other areas and markets.

This is what the participants of the meeting talked about in the Government House (video).
