It is planned to harvest cereal and pulse crops within 17 days. This was reported today to the Head of State during his working visit to Minsk district. Alexander Lukashenko visited the Minsk DorOrs farm where he was reported on the socio-economic development of the central region. The President also inspected the harvesting campaign in Belarus and fodder conservation in the Minsk region and in the country on the whole.
In total, it is planned to harvest 9,000,000 tons of grain in Belarus, including 1.5 million tons of maize with harvest rates of 6 percent of acreage per day. Up to now the rates have not exceeded 5 percent.
