Belarus’ President has met with Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan to discuss priority directions of integration processes development in the Eurasian economic space. According to Alexander Lukashenko, the Eurasian Economic Union, created in a relatively short period of time, has seen enough successes, but still there are some problems. National issues of EAEU countries should not hinder the development of common interests and addressing the issues the integration association is facing, the President said.
The meeting discussed the medium-term and tactical tasks the EAEU is facing in view of global trends. After being approved by EAEU leaders, these directions will form the basis of a strategy on promoting the Union.
