President of Belarus meets with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi

Today, the President of Belarus met with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces in the United Arab Emirates.

During the meeting they discussed the implementation of the agreements reached following the recent visit of the Crown Prince to Belarus. Emirati business circles demonstrate real interest of the UAE in the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation. The President assured that he would contribute to the effective resolution of possible problems to the maximum extent possible. The parties discussed cooperation in agriculture, industry, banking, logistics, and humanitarian sphere.

Special attention is paid to cooperation in the field of sports. The leaders of the two countries discussed in detail the situation in the Middle East region and in the global context. One of the components of bilateral relations is military-technical cooperation. In this regard, the government is ready to expand the dialogue in the areas of interest, including research, education, joint training and experience exchange.

Alexander Lukashenko thanked Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the hospitality and attention paid to the Belarusian delegation in the Emirates.
