Belarus and Ecuador need to revise their relations. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated this at the meeting with Ecuador Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Fernanda Espinosa Garces who is paying an official visit to Belarus.
The President notes that Belarus and Ecuador have good political relations, similar positions on the international agenda. Minsk and Quito cooperate constructively in all international organizations, especially in the UN. Trade and economic cooperation should be the basis of the road map for the two states.
A pause in the implementation of some projects was made due to the difficult economic situation in Ecuador.
But this year there is a noticeable growth in trade turnover: the countries have reached almost $ 45 million.
Maria Fernanda Espinosa Garces laid a wreath to the monument in the center of the Belarusian capital paying tribute to those who heroically fought for their homeland.
