President of Belarus meets with head of Senate of Uzbekistan

The President of Belarus notes the high dynamics in the development of relations between Minsk and Tashkent. Alexander Lukashenko has met with head of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Nigmatilla Yuldashev is paying a visit to Belarus for the first time. Before meeting with the Belarusian leader, the guests managed to talk with fellow parliamentarians, the prime minister and visited the High-Tech Park. Last year, the trade between Belarus and Uzbekistan reached $ 130 million, or doubled compared to 2016.

We export tractors, agricultural machinery, road and construction machinery. The first assembly facilities of Amkodor and Bobruiskagromash were opened in Uzbekistan. The initiative of the presidents of the two countries is deepening of industrial cooperation.

Alexander Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev meet at international summits. Last week the leaders met in China.

This year Alexander Lukashenko plans to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.
