Alexander Lukashenko meets with Head of Roskosmos

The development of high technologies is one of the key priorities of Belarus as well as development of space programs. This was announced today at the Independence Palace by Alexander Lukashenko and the Head of Roskosmos Dmitry Rogozin. The participants of the meeting exchanged views on future and ongoing projects. The Belarusian space system for remote sensing of the Earth been created. It has already brought about eighty million dollars.

Well, the main plans of scientists for the next five years include creation of a joint system of space monitoring of the Earth. Also, specialists intend to improve equipment and ground infrastructure.
