In a break between the final matches of the Fed Cup, Alexander Lukashenko and ITF President David Haggerty had a chance to meet and have a conversation. The heads of a number of national federations and international sports associations also took part in the meeting. The President of Belarus thanked the high-ranking officials for attending the Fed Cup final and noted that the Belarusian tennis will soon come into the spotlight.
After the meeting, the guests gave the President a symbolic gift – a copy of the Fed Cup – the main trophy of the world's largest team competition in women's tennis.
