By Ilona Krasutskaya: Today, President Alexander Lukashenko will deliver his annual address to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly of Belarus. Traditionally, senior officials, government officials, heads of government agencies, major companies, leading universities, banks, diplomatic corps and the media have been invited to the event at the Oval Hall.
The President is expected to speak about the existing problems and prospects in the economy, social sphere, and international politics. The President pays a lot of attention to the development of the digital economy, the agro-industrial complex, healthcare, education, and sports. The priority now is to outline the range of global tasks for the future, taking into account the decisions already taken and specific instructions.
The President's address will begin at 10.30. The address will be televised live by TV channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 24, as well as by the First Channel of the Belarusian Radio. Also, journalists will prepare a TV version of the address with all the key issues. The TV version will be aired by Belarusian TV channels in the evening.
