President of Belarus meets with General Director of Belarusian Potash Company

The Head of State was interested in the situation in the industry, including the results of the work over the past year, as well as the situation on world markets. According to Elena Kudryavets, the company exported last year more than 9 million tons of potash fertilizer, which is 3% less than in 2014. At the same time according to the International Fertilizer Industry Association, the global volume of exports fell by almost 6% in the past year. The share of the Belarusian Potash Company in the world exports increased from 18.8 percent in 2014 to 19.3 percent in 2015. Elena Kudryavets notes that the company is focused on the real needs of the market, seeks a balanced and responsible approach to production and sales and responds to changes in demand flexibly.
