President of Belarus pays working visit to China

The plane of the head of state took off from the national airport Minsk and just a few minutes ago landed at Beijing airport.

Alexander Lukashenko will take part in the second forum of international cooperation "The Belt and Road". The head of state will present the proposals of the Belarusian side for the development of this global initiative, deepening cooperation in the Eurasian space with an emphasis on creating an equal and transparent system of international trade. 

 A meeting of our President with the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping is also planned, at which they will discuss the implementation of the most significant joint projects and the development of cooperation. 

In Beijing, everything is ready for the large-scale forum "The Belt and Road", which will be held for the second time. Leaders of nearly 40 states will gather in China. About 4 thousand journalists will cover the event. 

It is expected that during the summit they will discuss the prospects of cooperation with other countries. It is not excluded that Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks with foreign leaders.
