Belarusian President and Governor of Kaluga Region discuss avenues of future cooperation

Kaluga delegation continues its visit to Belarus. Our country is going to offer cooperation in a number of spheres, said Alexander Lukashenko while meeting Governor Anatoly Artamonov. Belarus and Kaluga Region are connected by long-term economic relations, but this is the first official visit. The Russian Federation is an important trade and economic partner of our country.

In the morning Russian guest laid a floral tribute to the monument of Victory giving homage to the victims of WWII.
Kaluga Region is the 6th trade turnover party of Belarus in Russia. Last year the trade turnover exceeded 300 million USD. The future cooperation is being discussed by the Belarusian President and Governor of Kaluga Region at the moment. Last year the trade turnover of our country amounted to 570m USD. Belarus supplies food, furniture, building materials, trucks and farm machines. The countries are going to cooperate in nuclear power, space, medicine and IT technologies. Today the delegation of Kaluga Region is going to visit a number of industrial enterprises.
