Our President gave an interview to BBC today. The Head of State was interviewed by international observer Steven Rosenberg. Our side provides full access to domestic and all interested foreign media to cover all the events. The Poles staged a complete information blockade. The demand for the Belarusian President is now colossal, many foreign media outlets turned to the press service with a request for an interview. The BBC film crew, which was invited to the Palace of Independence today, was among the applicants. The conversation lasted about an hour. Alexander Lukashenko was ready to answer all the questions of the guests. Mostly the conversation concerned the situation on the Belarusian-Polish border. British journalists were also interested in the details of the conversation between the President of Belarus and the Chancellor of Germany, the relationship of our country with the European Union and Russia. The rhetoric of Western colleagues was very predictable. A set of familiar clichés sounded, especially common in the West. The President stuck to the facts.

One can only envy the patience and endurance of Alexander Lukashenko. Our President has answered questions about the peaceful protests of summer and autumn 2020, political prisoners, and also the migration crisis, which, according to the European Union, Belarus is to blame for. Alexander Lukashenko is as open as possible to convey the position of Belarus. Therefore, he invited the BBC journalist to talk again, but this time on the live air. The answer was: "Yes, yes, we are very interested". The Presidential Press Service will definitely find a moment to invite the TV company for the next conversation. The Belarusian leader expressed hope that it would be respectable and without cuts, not like the CNN case.
