Congratulations on Independence Day come from foreign leaders

The President and the Belarusian people continue to receive congratulations on Independence Day from the leaders of dozens of states: from the European Union and CIS countries to our African partners. 

The rapid development in cooperation with the European Union is noted by a number of European leaders. The intensity of the Belarusian-German relations was stressed by German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Happy future to the Belarusian people and best wishes of personal well-being were conveyed by Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen.

The heads of reputable international organizations like, the UN, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, CSTO, CIS, famous politicians from all over the world and members of royal families sent their greetings. 

The best wishes for prosperity and wellbeing to the people of Belarus were conveyed by Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. Warm congratulations were sent by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Emperor of Japan, Naruhito, wished the Belarusian people prosperity. Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain has sent her sincere congratulations.

Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland: "It is with great pleasure that I send my warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Belarusian people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Belarus at this difficult time for everyone."

Recep Tayyip Erdogan pointed to the high level of bilateral relations based on mutual respect and common interests. In his message to the President of Belarus, the Turkish leader expressed hope for further deepening of cooperation.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey: "During your visit to Turkey in April last year, we reached an agreement on further deepening of our cooperation.  I am convinced that the steps taken in this framework will yield concrete results in the short term."
