President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the leadership, personnel and veterans of the customs service on their professional holiday, Customs Officer Day.
"You're the first to welcome guests to our country. You form a positive image of Belarus. By actively preventing smuggling and creating civilized conditions for international trade, you make a significant contribution to ensuring the security of citizens and preserving economic sovereignty," the letter says.
The President expressed confidence that based on the experience of their predecessors, constantly improving the forms and methods of control, the employees of the customs service will continue to fulfill their duty honestly and successfully solve the problems set before them by the state.
